Mornings with Kerri-Anne film Disney On Ice!

On Friday 24th June, Double Edge headed to Newcastle with the Mornings with Kerri-Anne team to film a magical segment of Disney On Ice! The Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy show began its Australian tour last week, kicking off at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.

Joined by some very special Disney friends, presenter Natalie Oliveri (and her very glamorous 6 inch heels) filmed on the ice stage floor.

Natalie introduced the segment driving Mickey and Minnie’s famous red Jalopy car which preformed some very funny tricks - it broke down and even lost its steering wheel!

Natalie visited Simba, Timon and Pumba from The Lion King before entering the world of Pixie Hollow for a special Tink cart ride on ice guided by Tinker Belle and her fairy friends! They even got to film some super fast CARS - Lightning McQueen, Sally & Mater who performed to ‘Life is a Highway’ – love this song!

The filming ended with an ice skating lesson with the two Aussie skaters in the show, Brian Duckworth and Daniel Harries. These champion skaters gave Natalie some tips on how to positively sizzle on the ice.
